Most Texecom alarms, including Premier Elite, reset from the keypad with your user code once the cause has stopped. If the panel will not reset, asks for an engineer, or the fault comes straight back, it needs a visit. We find the fault, clear it and reset the system.
Beeping usually means a fault is logged. The common ones are a battery fault, a mains failure or a tamper. The display names the fault. We read it, replace a failed panel or bell box battery if that is the cause, and stop the beeping.
A battery fault means the control panel backup battery is low or has failed. The alarm can still run on mains power, but it may beep and it will not keep working through a power cut. We test the battery and replace it.

A tamper fault means the panel thinks a lid is open, or a tamper circuit is open, on the control panel, a keypad, the bell box or a detector. We find which device is in tamper and put it right.
